At his stallion testing, Opus recieved the only 9 given in the gaits category (by all four judges) and one of only two 10s given in rideability. His dressage index remains one of the highest: 140.59. He qualified to 3rd level by five years old.

Year end championships include UHJA, USDF, USCTA - Area IV, and Reserve Champion AHSA Zone V.

Opus is stamping his get with consistent type, conformation, awesome uphill gaits, and most importantly, incredible rideability.

The oldest Opus get (2000 - 2001) are in the hands of and being bred by several Olympic and Grand Prix riders and trainers.  They are amassing many HOY awards and have high scores in the 70s and 80s.

Olympic Idocus
(Equador / Zonneglans)

Idocus is a KWPN and ISR/Oldenburg approved, international Grand Prix Dressage stallion, who participated in the 2004 Athens Olympics for the Dutch team.  He is a three-time World Cup participant, placing 6th in 2007 at Las Vegas.  He was Grand Champion of his stallion performance test in 2003, and held the highest jumping score of all the stallions.  In 1994, Idocus was presented to the Dutch Jury at the NA/WPN inspections.  He holds the highest score given in the North American Dutch Keurings, 99AA.  He scored a 9 walk, 8.5 trot, 9.5 canter, 9 for jumping, and a 9 for character.  In 1994, he was Grand Champion of Dressage, and returned in 2006 to win the Grand Prix.  In 2001, he returned to Holland to be approved by the stallion committee of the KWPN.  He has been named by the USDF as the top sire of Cosequin finalists, and consistently produces offspring in the top-ten lists of the Dutch keurings in North America.  His offspring are known for their supple movement, excellent temperament, and great rideability.
