TIAMO'S TROUPER
(Tiamo Trocadero x O' She's Gauguin)
2013 SWANA Gelding

August, 2022
Trouper is a 16.2 hand, super-friendly gelding with very light and free-flowing gaits that are always uphill. With an Olympic sire and two on his dam’s side (Olympic Idocus and World Cup Champion/Olympic Bronze Medalist Gauguin de Lully), he is an international Grand Prix dressage prospect. He is very easy for anyone to handle and is currently more than ready to show both 2nd and 3rd levels. Winning qualifiers and beating several 2022 Horse of the year Champions as well, he continues to be undefeated in all his classes at all his shows, with all scores between 67% and 70%. Trouper is well started with leg yield, starting flying changes, and schooling in the double bridle. His submission in the bridle means he is easy to keep on the bit, but his powerful movement is destined for FEI like his Olympic sire and grand sires. He will quickly move up the levels like his full sibling, Tiamo's Gauguin, who is currently showing at I-1, scoring 66% in Florida.
We are finding that Trouper loves to jump, so it seems we have a triple threat: dressage, hunter, equitation/jumper. His frame is so submissive, anyone can put him on the bit or let him have a relaxed, low hunter neck. He is a bold, hunter type that can not only win the hack classes but do the medal and derby hunter classes as well. His flat-kneed trot and rolling canter are perfect for the hunter ring. He is quiet and meets the fence perfectly in just the right pace, step, and relaxed frame - a steady hunter pace and perfect stride to easily make the distances, and always in a simple snaffle.
Sire: Tiamo Trocadero is a Hanoverian International Grand Prix dressage stallion who was an alternate for the 2000 Olympics. He earned over 70% at top CDIs in Europe, and with his amateur owner, won many USDF year-end awards at the FEI levels. His sire, Trapper is known for passing on big, floating trots and very good rideability. Tiamo's dam is by Darling, whose pedigree includes the famous D-line stallions Duellant and Devil's Own xx.
Dam: O' She's Gauguin by Opus, was 2008 & 2009 USDF DSHB Mature Mare Horse of the Year. She is a Premium ISR/Oldenburg mare, also approved Premium (AB) for SWANA and Premium (MMP) for AHHA. Opus is 2006 USDF #1 Dressage Breeding Sire (2nd in 2005 and 2004), #1 NA/WPN Dressage Breeding Sire in USEF rankings for 2005 and 2004, #1 Producer of Premium Mares and HOY Winners since 2005. O' She's Gauguin's dam, Gauliana de Gauguin, is one of the top scoring Gauguin De Lully mares ever She and her dam, Elite Goliad (by almost all State Premium mares), both won DAD, the largest breed show in the US (including winning under saddle classes!). Elite Goliad is the niece to the ’76 US Olympic Dressage Bronze medalist, Monaco.

UR A STAR
(Ubilee I x Rising Star)
2016 ISR/Oldenburg Gelding

In our lesson program working with a young rider.
UR A Star was born at 11 PM on 9/4/16. A Premium ISR/Oldenburg gelding with Grand Prix and Olympic bloodlines. Currently 16.3+ hands, he is a refined, elegant mover, elastic, and most importantly a brain to die for. Suited for the amateur to reach the Grand Prix level. He is well broke and ready to start showing. One of the biggest movers we have ever produced.
Sire: Ubilee I (Opus/Olympic Orpheus) is a NA/WPN Dutch registered stallion who was later gelded by his amateur owner. He has great movement, easy self-carriage, an uphill, lofty canter, huge walk, an elastic, rhythmic trot, and perfect hunter form and honesty over fences. Ubilee can do it all: dressage, hunter/jumper, and eventing. Besides winning the 2004 Stallion Short Test, Ubilee had the third highest overall score of all the stallions attending, 130.53; and he was the youngest three-year-old at the test. His dressage index of 138.97 is the fourth highest in all US stallion testing. His jumping index was 117, and he scored all 7s and 9s, except when his rider was lame on cross country.
Dam: Rising Star is by Raymeister (now GP Raymeister), who won with us at every show for three years, and then went on to be “the most winning horse in USDF history” with his new owner and his trainer Yvonne Barteau. Rising Star's dam, O'She's Gauguin, is by Opus and out of a Gauguin de Lully mare. She is a ¾ sibling to our stallion Rashka, who won his US stallion testing with the highest overall score ever, including the highest dressage index ever. Besides holding several of the highest Regional and National USDF Horse of the Year Championships ever, he currently continues to win at the FEI levels. Rising Star’s other foal, Fresca, has won several USDF Regional Championships and was Reserve National Champion at Training Level Adult Amateur.
